The Fishguard Arts Society was asked for designs for a logo for the new school and so I sent a small scrap with a black and white sketch on it. Months later I found out it had been chosen and spent the next month doing the design properly. It has been inserted into the flooring in the reception area and carved on a piece of bluestone which stands outside the school entrance. The logo is also on the sweatshirts. The design was fun to do but took a long time to complete.
I was commissioned to do a painting to be used for the front cover of a book by Margaret Burnett MBE called The Road to Shalom. I was asked to create a watercolour of her favourite place with a rainbow in it.
When we had a balcony added to the rear of the house I wanted to design the panels in the balustrades for the blacksmith. These are based on a sketch I did of some swallows which I put into a landscape. This is then repeated in the overall design.
