I have always liked to draw faces and at school I remember drawing teachers if I got bored, just wish I kept them all. However I am fascinated by the local characters and am painting the locals I know gradually. I have done a few self portraits over the years and try to do one every other year! I think they are interesting and show how my work has changed over the years.
